Privacy Policy

Cryptix Wallet (“the Wallet”) is an independent, non-custodial product for the Cryptix network, available as a browser extension and as an Android mobile app. Your recovery phrase and private keys are encrypted locally on your device with the password you choose. We do not operate servers that receive or store your keys.

Independence & transparency

• The Wallet is not affiliated with Mozilla, Google, MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Coinbase, or other wallet brands.
• It provides a window.cryptix provider for Cryptix dApps only — not window.ethereum or other chains’ providers.
• We do not collect recovery phrases, passwords, or private keys on any server.
• Install the extension only from cryptixwallet.com or the official Chrome Web Store listing; install the Android app only from Google Play when published (or an official Cryptix build channel you trust).

What stays on your device

• Encrypted wallet vault (recovery phrase / signing keys)
• Session unlock state (until you lock the wallet)
• Optional biometric unlock preference (password stored only in the device secure store when you enable it)
• List of dApp connection approvals you granted (extension)
• Your wallet settings and dismissed in-app notices

What leaves your device

When you use the Wallet, it may contact:

• Cryptix public REST API (rest.seed1.cryptix-network.org) — read balances, UTXOs, token and pool data
• Cryptix wRPC (websocket.cryptix-network.org) — broadcast signed transactions you approved
• SafeTrade / Cryptix market endpoints — optional CPAY/USDT price display in the wallet UI
• Cryptix launchpad (cryptix.fun) — when you open launchpad links or when a connected dApp requests wallet actions
• Connected websites / in-app browser pages — only the address and signatures you explicitly approve through the approval screen

No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are included in Cryptix Wallet builds we publish.

Android app permissions

• Internet — talk to Cryptix network APIs and open dApps you choose
• Camera — scan QR codes for receive/send addresses (only when you open the scanner)
• Biometric / fingerprint — optional unlock shortcut you enable in Settings

Browser extension permissions

• storage — save encrypted wallet data locally in Chrome storage
• Host permissions for Cryptix network endpoints — blockchain reads and transaction broadcast
• Host permissions for market price endpoints — display CPAY market price in the wallet UI
• Content scripts on web pages — inject the window.cryptix provider so dApps can request connection and signatures

Your responsibilities

• Keep your recovery phrase offline and private
• Verify transaction details in the approval window before signing
• Only connect the wallet to sites you trust
• You must be at least 18 to use Cryptix Wallet

Children

The Wallet is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy when the Wallet changes. Material updates will be posted on this page.
